Global Aviation Leader & Aviation College Principal Prof. Dr. Siddhartha Ghosh joins as Director of Rotary Club Of Kasba

Airline Head & Director turned Aviation College Principal & Chair Professor Prof. Dr. Siddhartha Ghosh has joined the world’s best service organization Rotary International as Director of Rotary Club Of Kasba for the year 2024-2025.

His international Rotary ID No. 11989451.

DSG as he is popularly known worldwide in aviation fraternity, is a qualified University Post-Doctorate who has exhibited his leadership qualities by being the organiser of the three editions of Dubai World Cup – world’s richest horse racing sporting extravaganza; which he executed during his assignment in Government of Dubai’s Emirates Airline (officially ranked as world’s best airline) at Dubai in association with Dubai Police & Dubai Govt.

This is Prof. Dr. Siddhartha Ghosh’s third assignment as Director – first as Quikjet Airline Director (approved ‘Postholder’ position in DGCA, Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India), then as CCLP Worldwide Director (United Nations of Geneva & European Parliament accredited Director) & now as Rotary Director (Rotary International being the world’s best service organization serving humanity for more than 100 years globally).

Dr. Ghosh as an United Nations of Geneva (UNoG) accredited Director had participated in the UNoG deliberations in 2013 at Geneva, Switzerland & was issued the UN Ground Pass – a rare & prestigious ID, conferred only to select few qualifiers in the world. Prof. Dr. Siddhartha Ghosh presently has been leading University affiliated Aviation College as its Chair Professor & Principal for past 5 years & had earlier served as the Honorary Chancellor of St. Rene Descartes University for a 4-Year term. DSG’s 22 years of experience has been encapsulated in his 11 books, some of which have received prestigious national & international awards.

In 2024, renowned media house of Eastern India – Hello Kolkata Newspaper conferred him the ‘Hello Kolkata Global Aviation Leader Excellence Award’ by the hands of its Founder Editor Asish Basak.

     During a LIVE TV interview at Amaar TV Channel on 22nd February, DSG spoke wbout gis stellar career.

Also, International Literary Foundation ILF decorated him with its highest title of ‘Fellow’, making him the first Fellow of ILF (FILF).

Earlier, Prof. Dr. Siddhartha Ghosh had been the recipient of Govt. of India’s Assam University National Award of Excellence in 2010 by AU Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Topodhir Bhattacharjee, US Government’s President Donald Trump & Dr. Joe Biden’s Academic Excellence Award respectively as well as 2015 US President Barack Obama’s Platinum Award.
